2026 Legacy Ceremony honorees
We proudly recognize Jimmy Graham, a dynamic new champion stepping into the SEED story, alongside Jaret L. Davis, a true cornerstone whose unwavering support has helped build the foundation we stand on today.
Jimmy Graham
Jimmy Graham is a Pro Bowl NFL tight end whose journey is defined by resilience, determination, and transformation, just like many of our scholars. Raised in Goldsboro, North Carolina, Jimmy overcame a challenging childhood before earning a basketball scholarship to the University of Miami, where he graduated with a double major in marketing and management. After playing just one season of college football, he was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in 2010.
Jimmy quickly rose to prominence, earning Pro Bowl honors and setting multiple franchise and NFL records, including one of the highest single-season receiving yard totals by a tight end. Throughout his career with teams including the Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Bears, he has been recognized not only for his athletic excellence, but for his perseverance and character.
Jimmy’s story is a powerful testament to overcoming adversity and redefining what’s possible—making him a true champion both on and off the field.

Jaret L. Davis
Jaret L. Davis is Senior Vice President at Greenberg Traurig and Co-Managing Shareholder of its Miami office, where he leads a team of over 400 attorneys and professionals. A nationally recognized leader in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and technology law, Jaret has advised on some of the most significant transactions across the technology, healthcare, and private equity sectors.
Beyond his professional success, Jaret is a deeply committed civic leader and champion for the Miami community. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of Miami, the Board of Directors of The Miami Foundation, Chair of Nicklaus Children's Health System Board, and has held leadership roles with the Miami-Dade Beacon Council.
A founding force behind initiatives that have shaped Miami’s growth and innovation economy, Jaret has been a steadfast supporter of SEED Miami since its inception. His leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to opportunity and equity have helped lay the foundation for generations of SEED scholars.
